Sheena continued to spread her joy and love of the Lord as a lay preacher for many years following her time at Shotts EU Church. Her vibrant faith and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her. Pastor Sheena Brown will be deeply missed, but her legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire all who were touched by her.     It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ms Margaret Hamilton. Margaret was a much loved mother to Wendy, Shelley, Debbie and Lee. She was also a devoted grandmother to Danielle, Chantelle, Declyn, Kendal and Kai. Margaret was also a much loved and dedicated great grandmother to Arron, Layla, Daisy, Delilah, Lucia and Lee in addition to being a well thought of and much loved sister to Sheila, Robert, John, Katrina and Nancy. A celebration of Margaret's life will take place in Shotts EU Congregational Church on Tuesday 28th May at 1pm, followed by a short committal service at Benhar Cemetery at 2pm. There will be refreshments served at the Shotts Bon Accord Social Club (Baton Road, Ml7 4EY) following the committal and the family would warmly invite you to join with them to share memories of Margaret and celebrate her life. He was also adored by his grandchildren Steven, Erin, Neve, Paige, Lewis, Michal and Skye. He was a dear brother to John, Elspeth, Jean, Jim, Billy and his late sister Eleanor. George was also a well thought of friend, colleague and neighbour to many. A celebration of George's life will take place on Saturday 20th April 2024 in Shotts EU Congregational Church at 9.30am followed by a short committal service at Benhar Cemetery at 11am. Following the committal, friends and family are warmly invited to come to the Bon Accord Social Club for refreshments and an opportunity to share stories of George.

    It is with sadness we announce the passing of Margaret McGill or Meg as she was commonly and affectionately known to many. Margaret was the pillar of her family; being a much loved sister, mother, grandmother and great - grandmother. Not to mention, a popular friend and neighbour to many. A celebration of Margaret's life will take place on: Tueday 9th April 2024 at Brodies Funeral Home, Whitburn at 11am followed by committal at Bleaberry Cemetery, Whitburn at midday. Everyone is invited to the local Football Club at 1230 for refreshments following the committal.
