Janet was a loving wife to David, much loved and deciated mother to Lara, Anthony, Christopher and Nigel. Janet was also an adored grandmother to her 12 grandchildren. With sadness we announce the funeral details of Mr William Griffith Meeke (Winky) Died 19th October 2023 William's funeral service will take place in Brodies Funeral Parlour (Harthill) on Monday 6th November 2023 at 12 noon followed by a short service of committal at Blaeberry Cemetery in Whitburn. William has been described as a 'character' with a heart of gold and will be fondly remembered but sorely missed. The family of Mrs Elizabeth Brown are saddened to share the news that their: 'beautiful Mama Betty Brown went home to rest eternally on 25 Sept 2023. Such a beautiful soul who will be missed beyond measure.' Funeral service from Betty's home in Shotts at 12 noon on Friday 6th October 2023 followed by a short service of committal in Stane Cemetery at 1pm. The family warmly welcome everyone to the Shotts Bon Accord Social Club for refreshments and to share memories of Betty following the committal. Betty was a lady held in the highest regard by her family, her community and beyond; she will be fondly remembered but very sorely missed. John 14

Paterson, Robert Passed away on 14th February in hospital. Beloved and dedicated husband of Kathleen. He was also a loving and dedicated father to Lesley, Colin, Scott and Andrea as well as a well thought of and much loved father in law. Robert was also a much loved brother to Janet and Jaqueline and his late brothers John and Stewart. He will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his vast extended family across the world. Robert will be remembered as a man who loved a laugh, who loved his music, his holidays and his lodge but most of all, he will be remembered as a man who loved his family. A service of thanksgiving for Robert's life will take place on Friday 3rd March at 1030am in Brucefield Parish Church followed by a short committal service in West Lothian Crematorium at 12 noon. Everyone is welcome to Whitburn Football Club following the committal for refreshments and to share memories of Robert's life. The family wish to convey their heartfelt thanks to those who have been in touch to offer their sympathies and for the many cards they have received.

Died 16 January 2023, peacefully in a local care home. Late of Hill Place, Shotts. Loving mother to Karen and well thought of friend to many. Heather's funeral service will take place on Thursday 9th February 2023 at 1.30pm at Holytown Crematorium. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Poppy Scotland.
